A CSR self-assessment questionnaire

CSR, Template    ---    2007 Jean-Philippe Massin, 9,589 views Add comments

At last! To be honest, it took me quite a while to find a good and relevant CSR self-assessment questionnaire, yes but available free online as well. That surprises me actually: It is such a buzz and so many non-profit-associations are sponsoring CSR that I thought I would find a dozen of them easily. Anyway. That’s a questionnaire I think is useful and complete enough for anyone working on rolling-down a CSR self assessment, although focused on/for ICT service providers. If by chance you know better/different questionnaires, I’ll be glad to get links.

This 62-page questionnaire was developed by a joint – and impressive – working group consisting of the following company representatives:

  • Brad Bennett – Intel
  • Liz Cross – BT
  • François Dalpé – Bell Canada
  • Annette Fergusson – Vodafone
  • Saul Jamieson – Panasonic Mobile Communications
  • Michael Loch – Motorola
  • Luis Neves – Deutsche Telekom
  • Bonnie Nixon Gardiner – Hewlett-Packard
  • Abigail Oxley-Green – Nokia

The contents is structured as follows:

Company-Level Social and Environmental Responsibility

  • Basic Company Information
  • Labour Management and Ethical Conduct
  • Health, Safety and Environmental Management

Facility-Level Social and Environmental Responsibility

  • Basic Company Information
  • Labour Management and Ethical Conduct
  • Health, Safety and Environmental Management

Here is the link to the questionnaire titled “The Information and communications Technology (ICT) supplier Self-Assessment Questionnaire“, a joint initiative of the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) Supply Chain Working Group and the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (EICC) Implementation Group.

An online supplier sustainability questionnaire that lets your suppliers also question their supply chain. It enables carbon data to percolate automatically throughout the supply chain.

it’s free to register and you just invite your supplier through the software by entering their email address.
