European stakeholders are providing a set of guidelines for public authorities and contracting parties to support the introduction and use of Green Public Procurement. Published in 2004, Buying Green! is a 40 page and 6 chapter handbook explaining in concrete terms how environmental considerations can be integrated into procurement procedures, public legal constraints and  including concrete examples of environmental tendering by local authorities in Europe. It is organised as follows:

  • CHAPTER 6 — CONTRACT PERFORMANCE CLAUSES
